Over the last 15 years, thermoplastics have gained the recognition it deserves in the manufacture of chemical storage tanks. Thermoplastics are now at the forefront of tank design mainly due to its exceptional chemical resistance, excellent impact resistance with minimum weight. Ease of transportation and installation add to a plastic tank's durability and repairs or modifications can easily be made on-site, all of which affect your bottom line.

Very competitive when compared with stainless, mild steel and FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic) for long term chemical storage.

 

Usually made from variations of Polypropylene or Polyethylene cast sheet, fully extrusion welded inside & out and spark tested. Designed precisely to your specifications, these chemical tanks can have conical bases, sloping bases, electronically heated & insulated walls and many other special features that may be required.

 

All of the tanks manufactured at CV Industrial Plastic Fabricators are designed by professional engineers utilizing the internationally renowned DVS 2205 standards and incorporating the RITA software solution. Tanks where reinforcement is required, Mild Steel, Stainless or Aluminium, adhere to Australian Structural standards AS3990, AS4100 and AS1664.

We are proud to have manufactured tanks for Nestle, Kraft, the Mint, CSR and many other chemical plants. The tank above was made for Nestle to store Sodium Hypochlorite.
