We can cut your own plastic to size, on-site and after hours if required.
Just keep in mind that we have several suppliers and its likely that we can supply the same or equivalent material at a better price through our bulk buying practices.

Welding plastic with a hot air plastic welder
One of the most common methods of welding plastic is with a purpose built hand held hot air gun. With a very precisely regulated stream of hot air or gas exiting the tip, and proper control of the filler rod, the materials can be fused together to create a join as strong as the parent material itself. This method usually uses a filler rod between 3 & 5mm in thickness although welding strap as wide as 10 to 15mm can be used with the correct tip fitted to the welder.
With proper technique this method of welding plastic is very successful although on products that require higher strength or the parent material to be welded is over 10mm thick this method can be somewhat slow when compared to extrusion welding. because most filler rod is about 4mm thick, it can take several passes with the welder to produce what an extrusion welder can do in one pass. Ideally suited to materials up to 6mm in thickness and general repairs, this is the method most used at CV Industrial Plastic Fabricators.
For superior welding strength we use a Nitrogen mix of gases through the hand held plastic welder instead of just air that is more commonly used in plastic fabrication. We have found the extra cost in setting this up, is well worth the difference in the resultant welds.
This is a service that we offer to all our customers at no extra cost.
